Learn electronics by measuring, building, and testing

I work hands-on with basic electronic circuits and electrical components using a breadboard, digital multimeter, and bench power supply to build, measure, and troubleshoot circuits. My professional experience also includes electrical assembly of comercial food-service equipment.

Find the problem by establishing what the system is actually doing

I approach techincal problems by breaking systems into smaller pieces testing assumptions, observing behavior, and isolating failures. Whether I'm dubugging JavaScript, tracing a circuit, or working from the command line, I prefer understanding the cause over guessing at a fix

A complete business website built from scratch

Built a complete web presence for a mock bookkeeping firm using Next.js and React. I took the project from the initial structure through component development, responsive styling, forms, meta data, testing, Git-based development, and production deployment.

About

A hands-on path into technical work

My path into technology has been practical rather than traditional. I have worked across manufacturing, industrial inventory, facilites, and customer facing roles while teaching myself software development and electronics.

Professionally, I have assemmbled electrical comercial food-service equipment and serviced inventory for manufacturing and metalworking customers. Outside of work, I build software, experiment with electronic circuits, and use projects to undetstand how technical systems work from the inside out.

That same approach led me into JavaScript, React, and Next.js. I am particulary interested in the point where software meets hardware,and I am continuing to build my skills in electronics, embedded systems, networking, and programing.

I am looking for an entry-level technical role where curiosity, careful troubleshooting, and a willingness to learn are useful - whether that may be in software, hardware, technical support, or somewhere in between them.

I learn from first principles

I want to know why something works, not just which command makes it work. I break systems into smaller pieces and build my understanding from there.

I learn by building

Concepts stick when I can use them. I turn what I'm learning into projects, experiments, and working systems rather than leaving it in tutorials.

I troubleshoot methodically

When something fails, I establish what is working, test assumptions, isolate the problem, and work toward the cause instead of guessing at fixes.

I document the process

I keep notes, use Git, and document what I build. Being able to explain what changed, what failed, and why a solution worked is part of the technical work.
